I trained with Robert Brown for six months before I reported for college to play soccer at SMU. We met three times a week for strength and conditioning which included fast feet work, weight lifting, and speed and agility exercises. Through his program, I became much stronger and it showed on the field right away. Not only was I quicker, I could also jump higher and was more aggressive on the ball shooting from further distances. When I started with Robert, I could hardly bench press the bar. Six months later, I was adding thirty pounds of weight to my reps and maxing out over one hundred pounds. Robert was sport specific during my training and often did drills that were beneficial for female soccer players to prepare me for the highest level of competition. When I reported to SMU in August of last year, I was the most fit I have ever been in my life. Because I had been challenged in Robert's program, the transition into Division 1 soccer was smooth and I excelled in all areas of physical testing. I thoroughly enjoyed training with Robert and was very pleased with the results. With his instruction combined with hard work, you will definitely see the benefits!

My name is Lynda Hercules and I trained with Robert Brown this past year. Working with Robert not only increased my physical ability but my confidence as well. He always went the extra mile to make sure I was getting the most out of my work outs while still making it a fun atmosphere. I personally saw not only a difference in my fitness and strength levels, but a change in my attitude. Robert has the ability to make you want to train, get better, and keep going when you are ready to give up. Through my training I saw tremendous increases with weight training and Cardio capabilities. He also made sure to do ACL prevention to make sure I was not at risk. Robert Brown is a trainer who cares more about the person he is training and what they get from it rather than bettering himself. He knows when to push you and when to lay off. He has something most people don't have for their job and that's passion. Ever since I started training with Robert in the 7th grade I have become such a better athlete. I went from barley getting the chance to play to being one of the best on the field. I was stronger, faster and I felt like I had a lot more endurance. And you would think I would dread having to go to those intense workouts but I truly enjoyed them. I loved being challenged and pushed to my full potential. While a lot of girls in my league and especially on my team were getting hurt and tearing ACL's, MCL's, PCL's and all sort of knee problems I was one of the only girls who stayed 100% healthy. All the workouts focused just for ACL prevention really paid off. Now I play for one of the best teams in the nation and I am able to compete with even some of the best players. I am a lot stronger than most girls I play against, and I never get knocked off the ball which is a great feeling. I have just committed to Memphis to play soccer and without the help of Robert Brown that might not have happened. I know my true potential and I am able to push myself when a lot of other girls can't, separating myself from the pack. Some girls on my team are scared for the workouts in college because it's a whole other level but I can honestly say I'm ready with all the help Robert Brown has gave me.

"Where to start? Training with Robert "Major Payne" is hard work but also fun. He is determined to push you to your absolute best. I like working with him because it is almost like a one on one basis. He shows everyone the same attention and pushes everyone the same so there is no favoritism. He is right there beside you the whole training time unlike big work out business that just tell you to run. He builds up your strength, speed, and agility all at the same time and helps you keep it at a high level. Just in this past month I have seen some major improvement in my strength and speed. My daughter, a soccer player, was three (3) months out of ACL reconstructive surgery and we were looking for a trainer that could help her rehab. Robert Brown was highly recommended by several families on my daughter’s soccer team. From her very first session with Mr. Brown we knew that we were in the right place and my daughter began the long road back to competitive soccer. "Robert Brown is the GREATEST trainer I have ever had. Since the 3rd grade, I have used Robert to gain my strength, power, & endurance on & off the soccer field. I first met Robert when I played for Polaris 92 club soccer team, & let me tell you- I dreaded seeing Robert at our practice. I’ve been working out with Robert Brown since the summer before my freshman year of high school. I’ve seen dramatic improvement in my overall strength and athletic ability thanks to Robert. I’m almost 6 foot tall and had definitely hit that awkward stage in my growth. Robert’s training helped me overcome that uncoordinated stage and reach my maximum potential. Although I was tall, I was very weak. I am now very strong and never get pushed off the ball. My size is actually a threat to players not just an intimidation factor. I have gotten quicker and seen improvement with my foot speed and jumping abilities. Robert has not only helped me prepare for the collegiate level and make me a better soccer player, he also has helped prevent me from injuries. I strongly believe the number one reason girls should do strength training is for injury prevention. During my four years with Robert I have not once had a serious injury. Although you cannot fully prevent injuries from occurring you can lower the risk of them by working out with amazing trainers like Robert. Robert’s upbeat attitude and encouragement has really raised my confidence and helped me believe in myself. Robert Brown has helped me so much and I appreciate all that he has done for me. If it weren’t for Robert, I really do not think I would have had the chance to play at the collegiate level. He’s the BEST!!!

Robert, with your help, I’ve been able to gain strength in my body to help with the numerous ailments that were plaguing me! Not only did you modify the training sessions to help me do what I needed to do to gain the strength, but you did it in such a way as to minimize the pain while doing the particular exercise. Through these training sessions with you, the pain in my joints has gone away!!! You’ve helped my lower back, my shoulder, and most importantly my knee! As you know, the injuries and surgeries that I’ve been through with my knee were numerous and will eventually result in a total knee replacement. Due to the pain that I was enduring before starting your training, I was seriously considering doing the knee replacement by the end of this year. However, I’m now ecstatic to say that my pain is non-existent and I feel that I’ve got several more years before the replacement becomes a necessity. For this reason alone, I can’t THANK YOU enough! You are fun to work with and you always find a way to push me beyond what I thought I could do and the results speak for themselves. My daughter has been working with Robert Brown for almost 3 years. Her situation is unique because she was born with several congenital heart defects that require her to see a Cardiologist once a year. Robert has worked with my daughter’s special situation and she has thrived under his watchful eye. The last 2 trips to the cardiologist have been a miracle. After her last heart Stress test, her doctor said that she has athletic stamina and that her heart was stronger and healthier than it has ever been. She has also greatly improved her quickness, reaction time, and overall performance on the volleyball court. I asked my Assistant Coach where I could go and he told me about Robert Brown. I always told myself I can gradually grow at my game (volleyball) but there is NO EXCUSE for lacking on your physical side. Robert Brown is absolutely amazing! I've been training with him for a few years now and I am more than grateful for the role he has played in my success and also my life thus far. He has pushed me physically to a point I didn't think I could go and always expected more of me, never allowing me to give less than what I was capable of. He helped me through an injury not only physically but mentally. We had so many 'come to Jesus' talks in which he helped me get my mind back on track and constantly reminded me to focus on the things that really matter. Robert truly cares about those he works with and he became more than just a trainer to me. If it weren't for him, I would have quit the sport I love a couple years ago, and now I'm playing in college. If you give him everything you have, he will do the same. He expects that of you. My name is Laura Jones and I play volleyball for Baylor University. I have trained with Robert Brown for two and a half years now. I am positive that I would not have a scholarship or be where I am today without Roberts hard training. He knows volleyball inside and out. He knows what exercises and skills are necessary for players to reach their highest potential. Robert's workouts are not easy, in fact his workouts are the hardest ones that I have ever encountered. When I'm struggling, sweating, and wanting to give up he always motivates me to push harder. I leave Robert knowing that I got in better shape that day. Robert Brown has laid the foundation of a healthy lifestyle for me. After quitting volleyball my sophomore year in high school, I continued to go to Robert to learn valuable exercising techniques that have helped me maintain an active lifestyle. While training with Robert, he always challenged me to stay focused and driven both mentally and physically. His exercises weren’t geared toward a specific sport, which I found beneficial since they were well rounded. This hard work not only pays off outside the gym, but in the classroom/ work environment. When I finally left to attend the University of Texas, I remained the same weight (no freshman 15!), have completed my first full marathon, and graduated with a 3.8 GPA. Because of Robert’s perfect combination of diverse training, I am able to lead a healthy balanced lifestyle, and utilize proper exercising techniques.
